What a wonderful piece. As someone who has been to lots of festivals, not just having my films shown but also to teach workshops and seminars I tell other filmmakers how important it is to get your films in the right festival, not the biggest one. You want to go where both you and your film will be appreciated by the organizers and the audience. Bigger is not always better and I prefer small festivals to the large ones. You meet more people and can see how your film has affected an audience of real film goers and not a bunch of industry reps who are just looking for the next big thing. Long live small film festivals, that's where the good audiences are.

Thanks Kelley some times you just need to step back and give homage to the journey!
